Hello Troopers. Hope you all are doing awesome. Today I want to kick off a new-ish series. If anyone followed Marvel Champions the LCG by FFG I used to write articles for The Side Scheme podcast and one of the things I did was a High Fives article series where I would list and talk about my high five in that topic. Not really a tier list but just the five things I’m really high on at this moment in time. To start off I want to list my high five leaders. I’m gonna list the leader counting down from 5 to 1, talk about then a little bit, and post a decklist for each leader.

5. Vader

Vader is one of the starter leaders and he’s pretty great. He has an effective front side ability and is an absolute force once he deploys. He fits really well into a mid range command list to help accelerate his deploy condition.

4. Luke

Luke is the other starter leader and initially I was much higher on vader but I like Luke a little more overall right now. Luke is also a mid range leader but the reason I like him more is he has a little more survivability and access to some great removal options like takedown and vanquish.

3. Tarkin

Once again we have a more midrange leader. What I like about Tarkin is his ability to buff your own units and to fix your unit curve during the game. XP tokens have proven to be very impactful so far.

2. Sabine

Sabine is the first pure aggro leader and she’s super good. Deploying on 4 resources is such a huge and impactful boon. She also puts your opponent on a clock. She’s a great aggro leader and I can see her being a top deck on the complete set 1 meta.

1. Boba Fett

My backpacks got jets aaaand I just got sued. Boba Fett is far and away my favorite leader right now. I like him most in aggression, but mono cunning looks really nice with him too. I know people like the ECL + DJ kyber play with him but it’s not as good in boba fett as like Vader. Boba Fett’s ability is great for keeping up with aggro decks and he’s strong enough when deployed to handle the mid range game.
